The PhoenixUSB reclocks any incoming USB signal and fully regenerates it into an ultra-precise output for superior DAC performance.
Overview
- Single chassis integrates three functions: USB signal regenerator, linear power supply, and an external master clock with its own linear power supply.
- Designed from insights of the flagship Innuos Statement to maximize timing accuracy and minimize jitter.
Key Design Features
- Dedicated USB reclock chip powered by its own independent linear supply (no switching regulators).
- 24.000 MHz OCXO master clock (3 ppb stability) running directly on the circuit board and connected straight to the USB chip to avoid precision loss from cables or interconnects.
- Two Statement-grade linear power supplies: one exclusively for the OCXO clock, the other for the USB reclock chip and the 5V USB output rail.
- USB-B input and USB-A output for use with standard USB cables.
Operation & Compatibility
- Improves USB outputs from servers, streamers, and computers (Roon, Audirvana, etc.).
- Virtually invisible to operating systems and audio software—your DAC appears as the endpoint (the PhoenixUSB does not show up as a separate device).
- Supplied without USB cables; standard USB-B to USB-A cables must be purchased separately.
