Description
My system will be in storage for the next few years due to relocation and building a new house. As space for hifi will be limited in the new house I will need a more compact system - also a smaller turntable - meaning my Sikora is for sale…
Notice that my Standard MAX is a Special Edition where the plinth and motor towers are a sandwich construction of aluminum and brass/bronze. This makes my Sikora the predecessor to the newly released 31.000 euro Standard MAX Supreme, that has similar sandwich construction.
Sikora stopped making my version, due to very high manufacturing costs. Eventually this led to the two models we now see in the Standard MAX lineup, a cheaper ‘’normal’’ version, and the expensive Supreme. Here you can get a turntable similar to the Standard MAX Supreme - for a lot less money!
I’m the first owner, it’s in mint condition, includes the record weight, the original huge wooden box, 3 armbases, and the clear acrylic cover made specifically for this turntable. The tonearms and cartridges shown are not part of the sale.
