Purchased new in April 2026 for a project that was never built, only tested to verify operation with a receipt.
The Keces P9 Dual is a low-noise regulated linear power supply, a direct successor to the P8, designed to provide clean, stable power to sensitive audio components. It delivers up to 5 A per channel, with a peak capacity of 7 A, using an in-house developed toroidal transformer, whose precise winding and carefully selected materials stabilize the voltage while limiting electrical interference upstream of the circuit's power supply.
The focus on noise reduction is also reflected in a very low ripple design, which maintains a DC voltage free of unwanted components to ensure a clean, stable power supply. In line with this, the inclusion of gold-plated DC connectors minimizes contact resistance, while the mains input module, wired with OCC silver and combined with a 2-ounce copper PCB, optimizes current flow and transient surge management.
Designed to power multiple devices simultaneously, it combines two independent outputs, a dedicated ground terminal, and high current capacity, allowing for the integration of various configurations while managing electrical interactions. This design ensures quiet operation, even at full load, without hum at 50 Hz, while integrated thermal protection monitors operating conditions to ensure long-term stability.
