Description
Lector ZXT-70 integrated amplifier, a highly musical Italian hybrid amplifier combining a tube preamplifier stage with a MOSFET power amplifier section.
The ZXT-70 delivers 2 x 70 watts into 8 ohms and 2 x 100 watts into 4 ohms, making it powerful enough to drive a wide range of loudspeakers with ease. Its hybrid design uses 6922 / ECC88 tubes in the preamplifier stage and MOSFET output devices in the power stage, giving the amplifier a very attractive balance between musical refinement, tonal richness and control. The Lector ZXT-70 is a very engaging and natural sounding amplifier. It has the warmth, colour and flow often associated with tubes, combined with the grip, speed and stability of a solid-state output stage. Voices and acoustic instruments are presented with body and texture, while the bass remains controlled and articulate. This is not an analytical or sterile amplifier, but one that plays music with charm, energy and long-term listening pleasure and, of course, an excellent partner for our also offered Lector CD player.
