For sale: my ModWright KWH 225i, a superb high-end integrated amplifier designed and built in the USA.
The KWH 225i is known for its combination of exceptional power, control and tube-driven musicality. With 225 W per channel, it has no difficulty driving demanding loudspeakers while retaining a very natural, spacious and refined presentation.
The sound is characterised by:
* Excellent bass control and authority
* Very natural and expressive midrange
* Smooth, refined treble
* Excellent dynamics and transparency
* Large, precise and immersive soundstage
* Huge power reserves without sounding aggressive
The amplifier is in very good cosmetic and functional condition and has been used exclusively in a home high-end system. The tubes are 30h old.
