For sale: NAT Audio Magnetostat preamplifier. This is an uncompromising, flagship vacuum-tube line stage from the Serbian high-end manufacturer NAT Audio.
It ranks among the absolute best in the world and is designed to achieve maximum sonic purity, completely free of signal distortion.
The preamplifier is in perfect technical condition and includes the original remote control; the original packaging is not available. An audition in an acoustically treated room is possible.
Key technical features:
• Absolute Zero Feedback design: The unit employs neither global nor local negative feedback, ensuring an exceptionally pure, musical, and natural sound reproduction.
• Pure Triode Class A: The signal is processed exclusively by 6N30P triodes operating in a pure, single-ended Class A mode.
• No capacitors in the signal path: The audio signal does not pass through any coupling capacitors. Inter-stage coupling is achieved entirely via transformers, eliminating phase shifts and coloration typically introduced by capacitors.
• Full battery power supply: The unit utilizes a complete battery-based power supply—not only for the tube filaments (heaters) but also for the high anode (plate) voltage. The integrated battery recharges automatically when the device is switched off. Battery power completely eliminates noise, ripple, and interference from the mains supply.
• Two independent preamplifiers in a single chassis: The Magnetostat essentially contains two completely separate circuits—one for balanced (XLR) operation and the other for single-ended (RCA) operation.
