Der XA25, der günstigste Verstärker der XA-Serie von Pass Laboratories, verzichtet auf alles Unwesentliche – Anzeigen auf der Vorderseite, symmetrische Eingänge, übermäßige Ausgangsleistung – und bietet dem Hörer einen dreistufigen Verstärker, dessen Ausgangsleistung von einem einzelnen Transistorpaar pro Kanal im Gegentakt-Klasse-A-Betrieb erzeugt wird. Die Ausgangsleistung ist mit 25 W/z an 8 Ohm oder 50 W/z an 4 Ohm angegeben.
