Originally designed for demanding studio, radio and broadcast environments, it features an exceptionally capable direct-drive system and quartz-locked speed control, ensuring outstanding rotational stability.

It belongs to the same tradition as legendary professional reference machines such as the EMT 938, EMT 948 and EMT 950, as well as certain Micro Seiki, Denon DP-75 / DP-80 and professional Sony turntables.
