I ended up with a rare chance to compare these directly against a pair of Tannoy speakers built around 15" drivers, and for the kind of music I mostly listen to, that concept simply won me over — the Tannoys are now doing the daily duty in my room, which is the only reason the Magellans are looking for a new home rather than a fault of their own.

Reference-series 3-way bipolar floorstanding loudspeakers from Triangle's flagship Magellan line, reportedly around €15,000 per pair when new. Bipolar driver array (front + rear midrange/tweeter) produces an exceptionally deep, wide soundstage with minimal directivity — designed to fill the room rather than aim at a single sweet spot.

Location and listening: Bulgaria (Veliko Tarnovo). Everyone interested is welcome to come, see the speakers and listen to them at my home — by appointment. Buyers from neighbouring countries are especially welcome to collect them in person.

Condition & Provenance

Single previous owner, purchased personally by me in Volos, Greece, from the original owner — an experienced audiophile well familiar with the model's value.
Both cabinets share matching serial number MC00068, also printed on the original factory boxes — confirms matched pair from same production batch.
Technical condition: fully original drivers and crossovers, no modifications.
Cosmetic condition: light, normal signs of use consistent with careful home ownership; no deep scratches or dents.
Original factory cardboard packaging (OVP) included; boxes were professionally repacked and stored by DHL (Greece) at previous owner's request while awaiting sale — packaging remains intact and structurally sound.
Please note: the original bi-wire jumpers are not included. Each speaker was fitted with 8 small plastic pins securing the grille; 1–2 pins are missing on each speaker. The grilles still fit securely, with no rattling or looseness.

A set of 6 (three per speaker, as fitted to this model) is available as an add-on for an additional €400. Improved bass definition and complete floor protection, ready to use out of the box.

Shipping: I can organise insured heavy-freight shipping to Germany/Austria/Benelux; the buyer covers the freight cost. Exact quote on request by postal code. Speakers will be professionally repacked with reinforced insulation and multi-layer protection before dispatch.

Payment: SEPA bank transfer, Revolut, or other mutually agreed secure method. For buyers who prefer to collect the speakers in person, cash is also accepted on collection. Speakers shipped by freight are dispatched only after payment has been received and confirmed.
