For many audio freaks, our MC - SILVER IT Mk II Coaxial is a dream product, but too expensive and not available everywhere for a hearing test. In order to make life a little easier for our audio friends, the MC - SILVER IT 65 G, a slightly simpler version of the MC - SILVER IT Mk II Coaxial, was developed. The MC - SILVER IT 65 G is a cable with a bandwidth of up to 65 GHz with a similarly superior audio quality as the MC - SILVER MK II - but at around half the price of an MC - SILVER IT Mk II.

With the MC - SILVER IT 65 G, all production steps are carried out with the utmost care and attention in order to maintain a constant characteristic impedance over the entire cable and to ensure a consistently fine material structure, which helps prevent signal reflections even at very high frequencies.

The central conductor consists of 19 extremely highly matched crystal (MC) extruded OFC strands with a very thick and dense coating of extruded matched crystal (MC) high-purity silver, which is applied in a mechanical processing step.

The diameter of this central conductor is 1.4 mm and the cross-sectional area 1.17 mm². The line resistance is remarkably low: 1.43 Ohm / 100 m

The typical capacitance is 83 pF / meter.

The insulation between the core and the shield consists of several layers of Teflon tape and has a low relative dielectric constant of 1.4.

Double shielding consists of a 96 x 0.10 mm matched crystal (MC) OFC wire mesh with a very thick and dense coating of very pure silver under a spirally overlapping mesh of very pure 2.5 x 0.05 mm silver tape .

The outer insulation consists of the special HULLIFLEX ® EHD material. Unfortunately, this special insulation material is too expensive to be used in all of our products.

With the MC – SILVER IT 65 G all production handling is done with extreme care and maximum attention is paid to maintain a very constant characteristic impedance along the whole cable, as well as in the micro domain, to prevent signal reflections even up to very high frequencies.
The centre lead consists of 19 extreme high grade Matched Crystal (MC) extruded OFC strands with a very thick and dense extruded Matched Crystal (MC) purest silver coating applied in a mechanical processing step.
The diameter of this centre conductor is: 1.4 mm. and the cross-section area is 1.17 mm². The centre lead resistance is a remarkably low: 1.43 Ohm/100 m..
