PERSONAL TUBE COLLECTION AT SALE PRICES

It's that time of year to make room for new things, ideas, and thoughts in our lives. I have time to evaluate my personal tube collection accumulated over the last few years. Most of the items are hard to find in pairs, let alone in quads, matched, and tested. Some are truly rare, and all were acquired solely for sound quality, regardless of price. Now, it's time to let go of almost all of it for many reasons. Maybe I no longer have a place to use it; some were bought for testing equipment on review, or I have already settled on one alternative, and I don't think I will need another spare.

All of them are tested, measured, and bought from serious vendors and online stores. I tested it all personally, and it works as advertised. Even the NOS are quite NEW old stock and not used staff. I tried to provide as many details as I could, and I can follow up with more pictures for some serious buyers.

4. 6N23P-EV / 6H23P-EB NOS/Russia (ECC88, E88CC, 6922, 6DJ8, 7308): matched quad. A noticeable upgrade over the Electro-Harmonix 6922 tube. They are incredibly durable (rated at> 5,000 hours) and can withstand the punishment of modern pre-amps. This premium Russian-built NOS has various Russian names, including 6N23n-EB, 6H23N-EB, and 6N23P-EV, also known as 6922 tube replacement. These are hard-to-find NOS (new old stock) of premium quality, both in sound and construction.

5. Tesla E88CC (6922, 6DJ8): O-getter, matched quad

6. ECC88 TELEFUNKEN: this is an excellent original ECC88 QUARTET made in Berlin in 1961-2, "Diamond ⩤⩥" logo according to the original TFK standard. The tubes are in almost impeccable condition. The adhesive stick with number 2, equal for all, was an additional selection for these tubes based on their intended use. TEST over 100%, excellently balanced and matched.

7. 6N30P-DR / 6H30n-DP Super Tube: This rare 6N30P-DR (made before the end of 1992) features gold grids and is the absolute top grade of the 6N30 tube type, rated for 10,000h of operating lifetime. The DR grade indicates that this tube passed rigorous testing for space and military applications within the Soviet Union. The DR grading indicates it performs much better than the 6H30P-EB or EV versions. Later reproductions of this tube (since 1999) never reached the same quality level.
