Documented 1970s NOS Hi-Fi Collection
Offered as one complete collection: eleven registered vintage hi-fi objects from JBL, Pioneer, Sony, Thorens and Sansui, preserved with original cartons, packing materials, manuals, accessories and documented Thule Air Base / AAFES provenance.
THE COLLECTION INCLUDES:
* Four individual JBL L100 Century loudspeakers
* Two orange and two blue original JBL Quadrex fronts
* Pioneer SX-2500 stereo receiver
* Pioneer CT-F9191 cassette deck
* Sony TC-730 reel-to-reel tape recorder
* Sony TC-377 reel-to-reel tape recorder
* Thorens TD-125 Mk II turntable
* Original Thorens TX 25 dust cover
* Sansui RA-500 reverberation amplifier
CONDITION:
Owner-confirmed New Old Stock (NOS) and unused. The equipment has been unpacked for documentation and photography.
Electrical, mechanical and acoustic operation has not been tested and is not inferred from the excellent visual condition. The equipment is not described as factory-sealed.
The original JBL Quadrex foam fronts show age-related degradation and are included as important historical accessories.
DOCUMENTATION AND PROVENANCE:
The collection retains an exceptional quantity of original cartons, internal packing materials, manuals, accessories and shipping documentation.
Original labels and documents connect the collection with Thule Air Base, Greenland, and the AAFES/PX distribution system of the 1970s.
A structured archive containing more than 600 reference photographs is available, together with detailed English and Danish catalogue documentation, serial-number records and production chronology.
PRICE AND DELIVERY:
Asking price for the complete collection: EUR 26,500.
The collection is located in Denmark.
Personal collection or transport by a professional specialist carrier is preferred. Transport and insurance must be arranged and paid by the buyer.
The historic original cartons will not be used as external shipping cartons. They must be protected inside new double boxes or purpose-built transport crates. No tape or shipping labels may be applied directly to the original packaging.
PAYMENT:
Payment by cleared bank transfer. Any escrow arrangement must be agreed in advance and independently verified.
INSPECTION:
Inspection is possible by prior appointment. The equipment may not be powered on or function-tested without a previously agreed procedure involving a qualified vintage hi-fi specialist.
