Description
I am the first owner (6months old) of what can be considered as on the the very best preamplifiers in the world, no matter the price.
Here is what the reviewer Joël Chevassus (from Audiophile Magazine and 6moons) says about it:
"The Quest repositions the analog preamplifier at the very top of the hierarchy, and very clearly so. Another striking aspect of the Quest is that it doesn't alter the tonal balance of the system before its introduction. The Quest delivers a particularly fluid and natural sound, more present, more detailed, more alive…"

The Quest preamplifier features a dual mono, fully balanced design that isolates left and right channels for exceptional separation and clarity minimizing interference and crosstalk. This design preserves the subtle details of the music, delivering exceptional clarity and an immersive soundstage. Thanks to this design, users can enjoy sound reproduction faithful to the original recording, with precision that brings every note to life.
One of the key features of the Quest is its innovative grounding system, essential for handling delicate signals. WestminsterLab has developed a new system called Hybrid Grounding. This system allows users to switch between two grounding modes at any time, offering unparalleled flexibility to adapt the Quest to the specific needs of each setup. This feature ensures exceptional sound quality by optimizing the preamp's behavior according to the user's preferences.
My version has two additional features : the extended carbon pack and the RCA input card (in order to connect an a phono stage or a cd player for example), although the Quest operates in fully balanced mode, it incorporates a dedicated converter for unbalanced RCA sources. This converter preserves the original sonic signature while optimizing the Quest's input performance, ensuring maximum compatibility and fidelity.
Quest Preamp: 25.490 €
+ Extended Carbon Pack : 2.690 €
+ RCA input card : 1.990 €
Total = 30.170 €
I am selling it for only 16.900 €
