Complete Amplifier Set Offered on Behalf of a Client
This complete amplifier system is offered on consignment for one of our clients.
This is not the kind of amplifier set we can sell with enthusiastic marketing copy—it simply needs to be heard to be appreciated.
The system is being sold due to the owner's relocation.
300B Mono Power Amplifiers
The pair of 300B mono amplifiers was handcrafted by Dion Audio using the finest components available. This is the reference amplifier set developed for Dion Audio's ATA loudspeaker range.
The output tubes are genuine Western Electric 300B tubes (original boxes included). These tubes date from early 2022 and have only seen minimal use.
The rectifier tube is a Sophia Electric Aqua III 274B. The original box is also included. The Sophia tube is verifiably one year old and has likewise seen very little use.
The amplifiers feature Lundahl C-core interstage transformers.
Output power: 8 watts per channel into both 8-ohm and 4-ohm loads.
EL84 Preamplifier
EL84 tubes are rarely found in a preamplifier, but this unit proves just how exceptional they can sound. The preamplifier uses amorphous-core transformers and Gold Lion EL84 tubes.
