The unit was professionally upgraded one year ago by the renowned Living Voice loudspeaker company in the UK. The preamplifier has been fully re-capped and the internal wiring replaced, resulting in significantly improved transparency, tonal richness and overall musical performance.
The Mactone X-18E is admired for its exceptionally natural, fluid and highly musical presentation. It delivers outstanding detail and resolution without sounding analytical, combined with a wide holographic soundstage, beautiful tonal colour and wonderfully smooth, refined treble.
