The Aavik S-580 was the top model streamer from Aavik Acoustics from Denmark. Now it has been replaced by the Aavik SD-588 which is a more expensive streamer with more DAC functionalities.
But this Aavik S-580 has been bought in 2024 straight from the factory and has been inside his box ever since, waiting for you, the new and happy owner, to buy it! Before we sell the streamer, we will however take it out of the box to update the software and streaming firmware, we can make a video of unpacking the unit when we do this so you can see that it's brand new and unused. Also, full 24 month warranty from us, the official Dutch AGD distributor!
The Aavik S-580 is a very refined and analog sounding streamer, no digital harshness, no edges, but pure unaltered and free flowing music. The soundstage is huge and silent. Because of the big amount of noise cancelling technologies inside (paired with a very silent resonant mode power supply), there is an insane amount of air and transparency surrounding the artists in the recording. This makes it so that every layer in the recording is perfectly articulated and understandable, every individual thing happening in the soundstage is clearly and individually presented, yet playing harmonically and coherently together.
