There are 3 quality levels of Sortz, you have the standard Sortz, the Sortz Supreme and the Sortz Signature.

You plug the Ansuz Sortz into your unused inputs or outputs, even 1 or 2 Sortz makes a noticeable difference in sound quality, but of course more = better. When adding a Sortz of any kind to your system, something special happens, it sounds as if the room you're sitting in became more quiet. There is more focus in the sound, smaller details are more noticeable and the bass is tighter and resonates less. The music is more interesting to listen to and things like 2 voices singing together are more audible as individuals singing together instead of being a mash of voices. When you remove the Sortz from your system again, suddenly it's as if there is some magic missing, it falls a bit flat. Of course it's still good, but it is simply not as interesting anymore.

The differences between the Sortz :

Standard Sortz : Already sounds very good, more silence, more detail and a more pleasant and less resonating sound.

Sortz Supreme : It has the same qualities of the standard Sortz, but it adds more body and expression and this version has a bigger soundstage than the standard one, a little more robust as per say.

Sortz Signature : The Sortz Signature immediately gives a more refined and more 3D soundstage in comparison to the other 2 Sortz. The sound is calm, but dynamically refined. It is the best and most effective Sortz out of the 3, although it is possible that some would prefer the Sortz Supreme as they sound a bit more compact but also more focussed. It's all about personal taste.
