Beschreibung
Audio Research DSi200 in good condition including original packaging, remote control, power cord. Due to switching to tube amps, a very special integrated amplifier is for sale. It's a surprise how good this 'small' amplifier from this famous brand sounds (by the standards of this brand). It resembles more of a tube amplifier with guts. At 4 ohms 2 x 300 watts and at 8 ohms 2 x 200 watts, so no shortage of power, yet a fantastic sound with a lot of spatial detail and not bombastic but subtle when it needs to be and grand and powerful when it needs to be............. from Mahler to Rammstein. I am currently running a small class A tube amplifier and despite the amazing power and sound of the DSi200, I choose the small amplifier.
I have time, so if you are interested, I can warmly recommend it, but it doesn’t get warm; it’s also not a Class D but a transistor amplifier with an amazing heavy power supply. Just check ARCDB for more info and look for a test—actually, when you read it, you think 'it’s probably okay,' but it will surprise you! I have debated for a long time but still want to make the switch. I currently don’t have a high-end CD player, unfortunately, two units have been in repair for months, and as a backup, I have a simple Pioneer PD30A, not a top model but it plays. Bring your own CD player ;-) The AR is truly something special and I don’t really need to mention the reputation of the brand or its quality, unless you know very little about audio—this is one of the top brands from the USA.
Price to be agreed upon, serious interest only, not a bargain.
Lowballers or nonsense offers will be ignored, there is little for sale in the area and certainly not in this quality. Previously had a Class D set for/end of Jeff Rowland.
Beautiful but unfortunately not a match, should have had the DSi200 earlier.
Listening session possible but not for hours, understanding that you want to hear him and judge if it is something and if it works as it should. You can assess that, but not how it will sound at your home or come to listen to know what kind of device it is, I have no showroom or listening room.
