EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION
The Reference 6SE is the evolution of the Reference 6 and benefits from developments originally created by Audio Research for its highest-level Reference electronics. Its architecture features a single gain stage, fully balanced design, Class A operation and zero negative feedback.
Its circuitry uses six 6H30 tubes in the gain stage, while the power supply incorporates an additional 6H30 and one 6550WE for regulation. The power supply is generously oversized and uses electronic regulation for both high and low voltages.
Its sound is particularly distinguished by a large, three-dimensional and organic presentation, with extraordinary tonal richness and the ability to reproduce voices and instruments with exceptional body and presence.
