Goldmund Telos 690
The Telos 690 integrated stereo power amplifier was conceived to provide an audiophile-grade amplification option that embodies Goldmund’s iconic sound signature. Designed for those who seek exceptional performance from their analogue sound system in simpler system setups, the Telos 690 meets the highest standards in a simplified configuration.
What sets our amplifiers apart is our proprietary Telos® amplifier technology, first introduced in the 1990s and continuously refined since. Telos® amplification operates in Class A/B, utilizing highly linear analog components combined with a high-bandwidth circuit.
Telos® amplifiers exert precise control over speaker drivers, delivering clean, ample power while preventing unwanted noise that can compromise signal integrity. This control is especially critical in low frequencies, where woofer diaphragms exhibit greater movement, increasing the risk of distortion and unwanted vibrations. By drastically lowering output impedance, Telos® enhances micro-dynamics and prevents large woofer overshoots during high-power conditions—eliminating uncontrolled bass and maintaining absolute sonic transparency.
Unlike many amplifiers that lose clarity or introduce subtle distortion at lower volumes, Telos® ensures sound remains perfectly transparent, detailed, clear, dynamic, and virtually distortion-free across the entire frequency range.
