The Hegel H300 is a super, high-end integrated amplifier with fantastic reviews from a highly respected European manufacturer.
Class AB, 250 wpc into 8 ohms, 430 into 4 ohms, stable to 2 ohms, high damping factor >1000, works well with all loudspeakers. Outstanding, low jitter DAC section, AKM AK-4339 chip, still highly respected today. The H300 is well-known for its powerful, detailed, lively, musical sound.
This H300 has been the treasured backbone of my high-end system for 13 years. I am the first-owner and bought the unit new from a Swiss distributer. It has been well cared for and only used in a smoke-free environment. It has never been repaired, required service or sent to a repair center.
Note - the amplifier is in perfect working order with one small exception: very rarely the unit does not immediately connect to the displayed source CO1 or OPT1. After switching sources a few times it connects and works perfectly. This issue has existed for a few years and I have not repaired it because it is so minor. For this reason I am offering the amplifier well below its market value.
