I am selling a Lavardin ISX amplifier because I have renewed my system following a move.
Bought at the end of 2020. Very good condition, just a scratch on the source selection knob, but it's in perfect working order.
The amplifier has 4 line inputs. It has no remote control.
An excellent amplifier, very good value for money. It combines contradictory qualities: very detailed with very soft timbres and perfect reproduction of rhythms. Really catchy. Read the Hi-Fi + review. Hi-Fi magazines rarely give a frank opinion on the products they test, everything is always good, but this is something else:
"...you won’t be able to stop yourself from thoroughly enjoying the Lavardin Model ISx. It’s a great sounding amplifier that really changes your perceptions of what’s important in good sound, and questions the need to keep pushing the audiophile price envelope. Our highest possible recommendation today, and judging at the rate Lavardin changes its products, this will still retain our highest possible reputation a dozen years from today!"
Note: for around €1,500, the amplifier can be upgraded to an ISX Reference if you take it to a Lavardin dealer.
