The Sony TCD-D8 is a legendary, ultra-compact portable Digital Audio Tape (DAT) Walkman. Released by Sony in 1995, it became a highly sought-after tool for live music recording, field audio, and high-fidelity digital transfers. It offered a rare balance of near-studio audio quality in a package small enough to fit inside a jacket pocket.
