Sun Audio SV-300BSM mono-block amplifiers. This is the highest, top model from Japanese legendary craftsman - Sun Audio, Mr. Masaho Uchida (ex chief engineer at Tamura transformers).

Mono-blocks are quite big and heavy, with large, oversized and dedicated Tamura iron.
Both mono-blocks are equipped with volume control and can be used with or without additional preamplifier.

Mono-blocks are European 240VAC 50Hz version.

Equipped with four (4x) Western Electric 300B tubes from 1999, used for few hundred hours with expected lifetime of 30.000-40.000 hours. All four WE300B measure as new, are matched within 1% (measured inside the amplifier).
Inside you can find Black Gate N , Black Gate VK and Black Gate STD capacitor as well as RIKEN RMG resistors.

There are no capacitors in the signal path. 6SN7 tube is directly connected to 6V6 driver which drives pair of 300B tubes via Tamura interstage. This is the purest as possible.

Each mono-block delivers powerful 15W pure class A power in Parallel Single Ended mode, with low distortion. Amplifiers are equipped with dedicated 4R, 8R and 16R outputs so you can connect variety of speakers.

Sound signature is warm, lush, seducing, full, big, open, emotional. Outstanding performance in Jazz, classical music, acoustic, vocals, 60's, 70's rock and blues.

One final remark. Its easy to buy a Kondo, Audio Note, Jadis etc amps here in EU, anytime, anywhere, its just a matter of money as there are plenty of adverts. SV-300BSM are very rare in EU and even not so many were sold on domestic Japanese market. Tamura announced in 2025 that they soon will close division responsible for tube transformers. You can rest assured that these amplifiers will NEVER lose their value.

the reason for sale: my 88dB speakers are not efficient enough to allow me listening music with high dynamic range on very high volumes (90-100dB) without audible distortion.
If you listen on moderate level or have efficient speakers you dont have to worry about the power.
