The Nime Audio Design Mya is a unique loudspeaker. The cabinet of this 2-way standmount loudspeaker is made from thick HDF, the stands and feet are made from stainless steel. The unique looks are not only there for design purposes, the shape and depth of these speakers make sure that the internal cabinet resonances are not bothersome. These speakers produce an excellent and tight bass for their size, without having the bass distort the midrange area. The midrange and high notes are clean and detailled without sounding harsh. The sound is incredibly well balanced and musical.
The technical parts used for the Nime Mya are from a very high quality, the drivers and tweeters are from Accuton, a very well known brand that you can find in many other high end speaker brands like Marten Design or Kharma. The internal wiring comes from Transparent Cable from the USA, also a well known and respected cable manufacturer. The crossover parts are from Mundorf and the crossovers are located in the stands, this way the vibrations, pressure and movement created by the drivers do not negatively influence the crossovers. Also it makes it so that the loudspeaker terminals are lower to the ground which is much easier for connecting loudspeaker cables, especially MIT and Transparent cables with big and heavy blocks on the cables. The loudspeaker terminals themselves are made by WBT. These parts have been carefully selected to create the best sound quality a speaker in this price and size class can have to offer.
