The MA12000 features a hybrid design in which the preamplifier section is powered by four 12AX7A vacuum tubes (two tubes per audio channel), while the 350-watt power amplifier section employs a solid-state design. McIntosh Autoformer™ technology guarantees that your speakers will always be able to receive the full 350 watts, regardless of whether they have an impedance of 2, 4, or 8 ohms.
